Truffle Capital Innovation Focus
Truffle Capital focuses its investments in two main areas: FinTech/Insurtech and BioTech/MedTech.
FinTech/InsurTech
Truffle’s FinTech/InsurTech focus is targeted on Banking, Finance and Insurance technologies. Indeed, since 2001, Truffle Capital is a FinTech pioneer in France, launching the first FinTech incubator in France in 2015, and successfully selling 3 companies out of 8.
The new Truffle Financial Innovation Fund has a target size of 150M€ and will invest between 5 and 20 M€ in 12 to 15 innovating start-ups.
BioTech/MedTech
The new Truffle BioMedTech Crossover Fund has a target size of 200 M€; the first closing of this fund took place in November 2017 at 85 M€.
Truffle BioMedTech Crossover Fund will invest in 10 to 12 companies (80% MedTech early stage, 20% BioTech later stage): 3 company creations are currently in progress.
