Rotterdam – August 1, 2012 – Momac, a leading providers of mobile operator interface solutions, recently collaborated with the Netherlands largest news organisation NOS on an advanced mobile site exclusively for the 2012 summer Olympic Games that features integrated rich media, including live video and audio streaming. Additionally, the NOS Olympics mobile site offers video coverage of every sport in the Games, medal counts and more.

“The aim of this mobile site was to enable users to conveniently view the events live directly on their mobiles,” explains Momac Netherlands MD Joost Goeree. “We worked closely on the implementation and fine tuning of the mobile site. The streamlined design allows users to quickly navigate anywhere, and the live streams are particularly sophisticated in that they provide video of the entire Games.”

Content, which is categorized by sporting event, is accessible via a menu screen that lists the events with Dutch representation at the top for quick navigation. A ‘Medals’ feature tracks the number of medals won per country. NOS, which handled the project's overall design and interaction design, launched the mobile site the same day as the 2012 Olympics.

Long time partners, Momac and NOS have worked together since 2009, continually delivering NOS-branded mobile sites, including the Tour de France mobile site that features live news feeds, ranking tables, video and more. Similarly, the NOS 2012 Olympic Games mobile site includes complete sports coverage, including a range of media tools embedded directly in the mobile site.

Paris – May 28, 2012 – Momac, a leading provider of customer engagement interface solutions for mobile operators, recently raised €1 million in new funding to accelerate R&D and product development of the company’s multi-screen offering. Already an industry-leader in the development of interactive mobile interfaces, Momac is using the funds to extend its award winning mvolve platform to support tablets, iTVs and web browsers, providing CSP’s with a complete solution for customer engagement and self service interfaces across all major digital touch-points.

Momac continues to build on enormous opportunity in the mobile Customer Experience Management spectrum, partnering with Communication Service Providers to reduce operations costs and drive revenue by creating individualised mobile interfaces that engage and empower customers. On-device self-service solutions are helping CSPs drive up customer satisfaction and ARPU. These plans to extend the capabilities of Momac’s industry-leading mobile platform mvolve to include multiple screens will set the pace for an adaptive and consistent customer experience, opening new possibilities for CSPs to enhance customer engagement.

“True customer engagement comes from being able to interact with your customer via multiple channels in a consistent, personalized and intuitive manner. Whilst we believe that the mobile device will become the primary channel with which to communicate with customers, CSP’s must adopt a coherent multi-channel approach to their communications, and Momac’s mvolve platform will be a powerful solution to address this growing challenge,” says Sham Careem, Momac CEO. “Through new financing, we are giving ourselves resources to expand an already remarkable platform to include multi-screen technology and meet the increasing industry opportunities. Continued backing from investors is a testament to Momac’s market vision and industry-leading technology.
