10 May 2011 Paris – Leading mobile solutions provider Momac has developed a comprehensive mobile portal for the foremost French economic publication L’Expansion using the innovative mobile publishing platform mvolve. Users can now access L’Expansion headlines, economic and business news, job boards and more via the new technologically advanced mobile media site. Created exclusively by Momac, the mobile portal also integrates industry benchmark studies, rankings and real estate analysis, for which L’Expansion is renowned.

With rich media features, folding menus, video, image slide shows and articles, the mobile L’Expansion portal offers an ample and informative mobile version of the leading French monthly economic magazine. Momac Chief Marketing Officer Olivier Milcent emphasises the incorporation of numerous rendering features as well as social media sharing options.

“While the L’Expansion mobile site is designed to reach the entire mobile audience, there are certain elements that are particularly attractive to the magazine’s core professional and student readerships, and we’ve made sure those studies and ranking analysis are easily accessible via mobile,” he says.

“Using latest HTML5 and mobile javascript techniques allows readers to make the most of L’Expansion content regardless of the user’s mobile device capabilities.”

Through mvolve, Internet traffic is easily optimised and directed between the L’Expansion mobile site and websites, including search engines   results and social media sites. Readers are able to distribute and send articles with ease using sharing tools like Facebook and Twitter. Similarly, any L’Expansion shared link that is accessed from a mobile handset is automatically rendered according to the  mobile device.

Mvolve, Momac’s intelligent mobile service delivery platform, renders on the fly to over 6,500 mobile devices from feature phones to the latest smartphones, delivering a seamless customer experience for virtually all L’Expansion end-users.

According to Antoine Laporte, Publisher of the Brand L’Expansion, launching a mobile version of the website gives readers the freedom to retrieve pertinent L’Expansion content from the convenience of their mobile phones.

“An increasing number of people – professionals and students alike – get their news via the mobile Internet and L’Expansion is delighted to collaborate once again with Momac to deliver a highly innovative mobile solution,” he says.

“The objective is to expand the L’Expansion readership by presenting the publication in an entertaining, interactive and, above all, convenient manner.

In addition to developing the L’Expansion mobile portal, Momac is responsible for the creation of the L’Express mobile site and several applications. Both publications are owned by the French media group Express-Roularta.
